Job Responsibilities

As Assistant Director – Construction & Maintenance, the selected candidate will work closely with the Director Works and perform the following duties:

🛠️ Administrative and Technical Tasks:

Assist in technical, financial, and administrative decisions
Ensure implementation of infrastructure policies under regulatory standards
Supervise and manage utilities at H-12 Campus, including:
- Electricity, Water Supply, Sui Gas, HVAC systems

🧾 Record and Asset Management:

Maintain a complete record of buildings, roads, and installations
Handle disposal of unserviceable machinery and stores
Prepare maintenance budgets, audits, and procurement documents

🔧 Project Execution & Oversight:

Execute maintenance work (outsourced if required)
Handle local purchasing of materials
Prepare and monitor store demands
Oversee handover/takeover of construction projects

👥 Human Resource & Reporting:

Ensure staff discipline under E&D Rules and Ordinance 2000
Initiate Annual Confidential Reports (ACRs) of team members
Address concerns raised by Planning and Monitoring Units
