Eligibility Criteria:

The following are the eligibility requirements for the enrollment of children in the Benazir Taleemi Wazaif program:

• Offspring of active BISP Kafalat beneficiaries.
• Children aged between 4 and 12 years are eligible for enrollment in primary education.
• Enrollment in secondary education is open to children aged 8 to 18 years.
• Enrollment in Higher Secondary Education is available for children aged 13 to 22 years.

Enrollment Process:

• CNIC of the beneficiary
• B-form/CRC issued by NADRA
• Teacher-verified school/college admission slip, including details of class, and the name of the school/college.
• Verification of B-form/CRC through the NADRA database is a mandatory requirement for a child’s enrollment in the program.

Co-Responsibilities:

The Benazir Taleemi Wazaif Program entails two co-responsibilities that children must fulfill to qualify for cash transfers.

• 70 percent quarterly attendance

Admission Co-responsibility:-

• Every child within the eligible age criteria from an existing active BISP family undergoes verification only once during the Program’s registration, which occurs when they enter the program. The first quarter payment is released after the enrollment of children in the Benazir Taleemi Wazaif Program.

Attendance Co-responsibility

• For a beneficiary child to receive cash transfers from the second quarter onward, the child must attend school/college for a minimum of 70 percent of the effective days within a quarter.
