The selection process comprises two primary tests: an Intelligence Test, valued at 100 marks, and an Academic Test encompassing four subjects—Urdu, English, Mathematics, and General Science & General Knowledge—each allocated 25 marks. All test papers will be presented in a multiple-choice format. The Academic Test will evaluate proficiency in the standard curriculum for admission into class VII.

Eligibility Criteria (Class VIII)

Entry will be made in class VIII based on the following criteria:

N-Cadets

• 50% of the total seats (45 seats); only candidates from Balochistan province are eligible with prospects to join the Pakistan Navy after class XII subject to meeting the qualification criteria/standard.
• Domicile / Local certificate from Balochistan and School Certificate from Class 1-7th of School from Balochistan.
• The candidate should not be a student of any Cadet College/ Residential Institute of Balochistan.
• 7th passed / candidates appearing in the 7th class exam can also apply.
• Age limit 12-15 years on 31 March 2024 (Waiver of 90 days can be granted) in the upper and lower limit as per existing rule
• Selected N-Cadets may be transferred to any of the Military or PAF Cadet Colleges after passing the Matric exam.

Paying Cadets

• 50% of seats (45 seats) are reserved for candidates as under:
• Civilian candidates from provinces other than Balochistan (22 seats).
• Sons/wards of PN personnel and civilian employees are paid through the PN Budget (23 seats).
• 7th passed / candidates appearing in the 7th class exam can also apply.
• Age limit 12-14 years on 31 March 2024 (Waiver of 90 days can be granted) in upper and lower age limit as per existing rule.

Self Finance Cadets

• 24 additional seats are reserved for self-finance scheme

Eligibility Criteria (Class XI)

Limited seats in the college will be offered as Paying Cadets for class XI in pre-engineering, pre-medical, and ICS disciplines. The eligibility criteria for the same is appended below:

• Age 15-18 years on 31 March 2024 with a waiver of 90 days in upper & lower limit.
• Must have passed class X obtaining not less than 60% marks.
• The candidate should not have failed in any subject in the board exam.
• The candidate should not have repeated any class.
• Candidates who appeared/appeared in the class X annual examination and awaiting results will be accepted provisionally (hope a certificate duly signed by the Principal of the concerned school is also required).
• The final merit list will be prepared on receipt of the class X result.

PN Cadet College Ormara Admission 2024 Fee Structure

Additionally, the final selection of candidates will be contingent on their comprehensive performance in the written test, intelligence test, and the selection board interview.
