Who Can Apply for the PU Admission Test?
All students falling under the following categories are eligible to apply for the Punjab University Admission Test:
- Students who have passed their HSSC (FA, FSC, ICS, ICOM) or equivalent Grade 12 education.
- Students awaiting results of their HSSC or equivalent exams.
- Students who appeared in the 1st Admission Test on June 15, 2025, can also re-appear in this test. The higher score of the two attempts will be considered for merit calculation.

How to Register for the Punjab University Admission Test

PU Admission Test for Specialized Programs
PU Engineering Programs
Candidates applying for B.Sc. (Engg.) in Chemical, Electrical, Energy, Industrial & Management, and Metallurgy & Materials Engineering must appear in the PU Admission Test. However, ECAT (UET) or NUST Test scores are also accepted as per PEC requirements.
LLB Program Admission
For PU Law admissions, both LAT (Law Admission Test) and PU Admission Test are compulsory.
College of Art & Design Admissions
In addition to the PU test, candidates for College of Art & Design must also clear a Drawing or Aptitude Test, held separately at the College.
Pharm-D (Doctor of Pharmacy)
Students applying for Pharm-D can submit either MDCAT or PU Admission Test results.
